Raymond Wu
Raymond Wu, MD began his martial arts training at the age of 17 in Olympic style Tae Kwon Do. While at Northwestern University Medical School, a friend introduced him to Wushu. Intrigued by the aerial techniques, as well as the wide variety of weapons used in this style, he began training in 2002 under Sifu Anthony Marquez of Extreme Wushu/Kung Fu Training Center in Evanston and has since competed and won in several tournaments. His Wushu specialties include Northern Style Longfist, Broadsword, Staff, and 3-section staff. Dr. Wu is also currently writing a book on advanced Wushu techniques.
