At fifteen, Will has been involved in the martial arts for most of his life. He has been studying since he was five and performing with Sideswipe since he was nine. Will is an active member of the Sharkey’s Karate family where under the expert tutelage of John Sharkey Will studies and teaches Sho Rei Ryu Karate, and is the chief instructor for their Little Sharks Program. Will is a black belt in Karate and is also studying Wushu. His weapon of choice is the kama. Will has always been involved in extreme martial arts and credits Matt Mullins for giving him his start at age six. Will is a member of Team AKA and a five time NASKA world champion. He competes internationally on the WKA circuit and is a member of the USA National Team. Through his affiliation with Sideswipe Will as been very fortunate and has had many performance opportunities around the country and world, including Macy's Passport, Blackbelt Expo, Theatricks, and most recently Sideswipe’s NEX tour in Japan. Will is a Naperville, Illinois native and attends Metea Valley High School. Martial arts keeps Will very busy with teaching, practicing and performing. However he still makes time for his studies, music, and friends. Will prides himself in finding the balance that affords him the ability to excel in all areas of this life.
