Pek Pongpaet started training in Wushu at a relatively late age of 22 under the tutelage of Daniel Pesina in Chicago. Over the years, he has competed in several Kung Fu tournaments around the world and has performed motion capture for 4 Mortal Kombat video games. His specialties include Northern Longfist, Southern Fist, Northern Staff and Broadsword. His secondary styles include: straightsword, Tongbei Quan, Taichi, three sectional staff and ropedart. He currently works as a research scientist for Accenture Technology Labs and on weekends teaches Wushu to kids at Daniel Pesina's Chicago Wushu Guan.
